Four steps closer....

So far, so great. Sunday was a gorgeous day, and I had a meeting downtown, so I walked roundtrip, instead of taking the car, racking up my thirty minutes easily.

Monday, it was tough to get out of bed (late night visiting with friends on Sunday), but I managed the twenty minute workout on Walk Away The Pounds, then walked home from work to hit the thirty minute quota.

Tuesday is a double-header day. Abs toning class at the Y at 8am for 45 minutes, then yoga after work for an hour and change. So I'm all good for Tuesday.

This morning, the two-mile walk workout from Leslie Sansone. The chatter is dopey, but I work up a sweat, and it gets it done, no matter the weather. So there you go. Thirty minutes accomplished.

Tomorrow is another 45-minute toning session at the gym in the morning. Friday morning a walk...and then an evening check-in with Jamie, my trainer.

The weekend will be a challenge, as we'll be out of town both nights, and in different places. But I can do a walk at least on Saturday morning before the farmers' market, and Sunday I should be able to at least cram in a stroll somewhere.

I don't have much to say about this at this point, I have to admit. I'm not thinking about it very deeply...I'm just doing it. Which is possibly the best set of circumstances there could be.

Those Frye's, they shall be mine.
